How do I create a random pattern in my floor and avoid H joints?

Steller Floors are produced in fixed lengths, but that doesn't mean your floor needs to have a specific pattern. To get a natural staggered look that avoids H joints:

1) Prepare Random Starts - Start your install by cutting several pieces of flooring into random lengths (for example, at 4.5", 17" and 21"). Remember to apply sealant to fresh cut edges.

2) Use these pieces to start your rows - you may also mix in some standard lengths for starts.

3) Use Random Off-Cuts - Once you use all of these starts, begin using the cut-offs from the planks that end your rows to start the next rows.
