What do I do about stair parts and other millwork?

Steller Floors are a unique flooring solution - real solid wood floors that float. That said, a significant portion of most flooring or renovation projects include stairs, balusters and other woodworking.

Today Steller Floors only makes flooring, and we don't recommend our floors for stairs - because stair parts typically need to be glued or nailed down for safety reasons.

Given our intensity of focus on making the best hardwood floors available, here at Steller it would be impossible for us to make a stair treads or other millwork at competitive prices.

In lieu of making the materials ourselves, we work with you in several ways.

• We provide consultation on transitions to other materials
• We provide consultation and technical solutions for square abutments (e.g. bullnose)
• We provide water-based stains to match your Steller Floor on similar materials.
• We can produce, at additional cost, materials that match your own reference samples
